Christmas Gift Guide : Graphic, Paper, Product Design Enthusiasts

I like to collect my ideas and share them this time of year, as I am also getting ready to buy for loved ones. The gift guide this year is more about the philosophy or bright idea behind the product itself. Nevertheless, I think graphic designers, paper enthusiasts, package and product design lovers, lifestyle trenders and the like will find this guide useful.

Not in any particular order.

BULLET JOURNALING : WEEKLY LOG LAYOUT
PHOTO VIA CHIC STUDIES

Bullet Journal : A bullet journal isn’t necessarily a type of notebook, even if there is one called just that out there, but it’s more about a style of creative documentation. What I most like about this is that you need to take time out for yourself to think, stare out the window, doodle, sketch, prioritize, think of a fantastic menu, finally write out a list of birthdays... You personalize what goes inside the notebook. You decide colors, layout, illustrations, you get to practice calligraphy or sketching, stamping and so on. There are tons of tutorials and how to’s to start bullet journaling.
This site mentions the top planners to buy on the market with all the bells and whistles or you could even make one yourself.

SPECIAL BOX, PRODUCT AND TEAR OFF PICTURES TO SHARE

Greetabl :  Living abroad and wanting to send gifts via Italian post isn’t always the most convenient, and I hate the idea of special gift wrapping being opened for inspection! What I absolutely love is that this company also collaborates with independent designers and makers to create very personalized gifts.

SMART JOCO CUPS

Joco Cups : It’s not enough to be stylish and friendly (to the environment) these days, but now it's about your taste buds too. These are re-usable glass cups to drink your freshly brewed cup of Joe, which could lead to a very happy beginning of the day.

AN ARRAY OF THINGS YOU WOULDN’T THINK UP OF ON YOUR OWN.

Sideshow Press : Quirky design bent souvenir(ish) shop where you can find those things that you would love receiving and then put aside for when the moment strikes. Best I can do to describe all the nifty products.
